CIRCULARX RESOURCE

Five recovery pathways

A product can have several possible futures. Start by asking which pathways are technically feasible and responsible before comparing their economics.

Sell as-is

Sell the asset in its current verified condition. Compare proceeds with inspection, handling, and logistics costs.

Refurbish and sell

Restore the product for further use. Include parts, labor, testing, warranty assumptions, and selling costs.

Dismantle and sell parts

Recover usable components. Include dismantling, testing, storage, traceability, and the likelihood of component demand.

Repurpose into a new product

Adapt the asset or its components to another useful purpose. Assess design work, safety, suitability, and whether demand exists.

Recover materials or recycle

Recover materials when other pathways are unsuitable. Use qualified operators and applicable environmental and safety requirements.
